A Home Office is getting very popular amongst people, ever since Covid has hit the world. The entire work system has shifted to online encouraging people to work from home. Working from home can be draining, especially if you don’t have a proper working space. Which is why, we’re here to help you make it!
Here are a few factors to keep in mind while planning your in- house office:
- Have good lighting in your home office
Use a space with lots of lighting and perhaps big windows. It will be easier to work during the day with all the daylight- keeping you fresh. It will also provide perfect lighting for your zoom classes/meeting!
- Get a notice board
Hang up a pegboard/noticeboard where you can attach your task lists or other important stuff such as clocks, glasses, headphones and tools!
- Add elements of nature
Adding bits and pieces of nature will help create a more soothing and fresh atmosphere. Desk plants and other low maintenance plants are a wonderful idea to do this.
- Always have extra extension wires/cords
Trust us when we say this, but you’re going to thank us for getting those extra cords! Your phone is dying and so is your laptop? All your gadgets need to be plugged in? Set up a permanent extension cord near your work place so you don’t have to go to any troubles.
- Use mugs, vases and old cups for stationery
There will probably be a hundred things that you would need to keep: your pens, scissors, USB, paper clips and other stationery items. Using mugs and vases that are already available at your house will also be cheap!
